PT Usha gets selected as IOA Chief, She will be the first women occupant of top job. PT Usha is set to become the first women president of Indian Olympic Association (IOA). She comes as a alone candidate for the top post for election of 10 December.
On Saturday 58 years old PT Usha entered in the race of First women president of Indian Olympic Association. For upcoming (IO) election she had submitted her application which going to happen in next Month. Although with this application she confirmed her position for president of Indian Olympic Association.

PT Usha our famous Athlete get select as IOA Chief. On 20 December the (IOA) President Election will held. She will be the first women president of Indian Olympic Association.
58 years old PT Usha, winner of Asia Olympic Gold medalist gave her name for upcoming (IO) election. she will became the first Olympian and first International Medalist to head the IOA in its 95 year old history
Application For Following Position Filled
Along with PT Usha other 14 members of her team also submit Application for Following Position. Sunday was the last day to submit the Application for election. On Saturday and Sunday Umesh Sinha the Election officer did not get any nomination. But application for 24 Candidates had submitted.
These elections are for president of Indian Olympic Association(women) and joint Secretory. There were 12 Candidates are in race for 4 executive council members. In (IO) there is One president, One senior vice president, Two vice presidents (one man and one women), one treasurer, Two joint secretaries(one male and one female) are there from elected SOM’s.
PT Usha is one of the most deserving Indian Athletes. She won 11 Medals (4 gold). In1986 Seoul Asian Games she won 4 gold medals for 200m, 400m, 400m hurdles, 4*400m relay.
